Check Out a Library Book with a Kindle

Yes, Amazon has been busy! Last week all the kinks were ironed out between Kindles and Overdrive to allow library patrons to check out an ebook without going to the library!  All you need is a public library card, a wifi connection, an Amazon account and a Kindle or a device loaded with a Kindle app!

• Login to your Amazon account and minimize the window
• Go to http://www.countyofnapa.org/Library/.  Scroll down slightly and click on catalog tab and click on
  
  
   This will open Northnet Library System’s Library  to Go

• Scroll down on the left hand side and click on the Kindle icon

                                           

• This will take you to the Kindle Book collection.
• When you select a book, click on the title (highlighted in red) and add to cart.
• If you are finished browsing, click on proceed to check out.

 Click on get for Kindle. The Amazon screen will appear..

 On the Amazon screen, click on get library book and choose delivery (Kindle, App or Cloud)
